Join the Nationwide Battle
Join the Nationwide Battle alongside thousands of other riders. The collaborative effort of Equinox and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Cycle for Survival is dedicated to raising awareness and funding to treat rare cancers, which affects about half of all cancer patients.
The movement was founded by Jennifer Goodman, a cancer patient at Memorial Sloan Kettering and a member of Equinox gym, and her husband, David Linn, in an effort to fight back. Jen has since lost her battle with cancer, but her inspiration and passion continue to live on each year.
Cycle for Survival is one of the fastest-growing fundraising events, with more than $126 million raised to date to help doctors and researchers bring hope to countless patients and their families. In 2016 alone, $30 million were raised throughout 15 cities, by 27,000 riders and 180,000 donors.
So far, more than 31,000 participants have signed up to ride for 2017. Gather your friends, family, and colleagues and form a team to join the fight. The next NYC events will be hosted Feb 24th.
